Product Features

Linxian soybeans - known as the “king of beans”. Its nutritional value is unique. According to authoritative testing by the Crop Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, it is rich in protein, calcium, iron, zinc, selenium, and lecithin. Especially, the content of soybean isoflavones is 1.5-2 times higher than other varieties in the country, and is praised by the beauty industry as “kidney type pearl”.

人文历史

据记载，临县大豆是当地传统的农作物之一，种植历史悠久，能够探究到先秦时期，一直绵延至今。

临县人有喜欢吃“钱钱稀饭”的习惯（“钱钱”即大豆压扁制成，农民多是自制，目前也有生产企业）；有喜欢吃“临县豆腐”的习惯，（种地）农民们几乎家家户户种植大豆，想食用时直接拿大豆和“豆腐作坊”换取豆腐食用；有喜欢吃“大豆芽习惯”……

临县为人口大县，数十万久居在外生活工作的临县人，惦记着家乡的“特色食品”，“临县大豆”制品也就越走越远。

Humanistic History

According to records, soybeans in Linxian County are one of the traditional crops in the local area, with a long cultivation history that can be traced back to the pre-Qin period and has continued to this day.

People in Linxian have a habit of eating “Qian Qian Porridge”(“Qian Qian” refers to the flattened soybeans made by farmers, who are mostly self-made and currently have production enterprises); They have a habit of eating “Linxian tofu”. Farmers grow soybeans from almost every household, and when they want to eat them, they directly exchange soybeans and “tofu workshops” for tofu; They have a habit of eating “soybean sprouts”……

产地环境

临县位于中华民族母亲河——黄河边上，地处黄土高原，在北纬37°35’52”~33°14’19”，东经100°39’40”~111°18’02”，属温带大陆性气候，四季分明，春季干旱多风少雨，夏季炎热雨量集中，秋季较为温凉湿润，冬季寒冷干燥少雪。伴随着东北高而西南低的地势特征，形成东北寒凉、西南热暖的明显气候差异：年平均气温为9.2℃；一年中1月最冷，月平均温度为-6.8℃；7月最热，月平均气温23.2℃。

该地域自然环境和光、热、土、水等自然因素，为临县大豆的生长发育提供了良好的基础条件，因此大豆蛋白质、脂肪、微量元素等营养物质多，豆粒饱满。

Origin environment

Linxian County is located on the Yellow River, the mother river of the Chinese nation, on the Loess Plateau. It is situated at 37°35’52” ~ 33°14’19” north latitude and 100°39’40” ~ 111°18’02” east longitude. It has a temperate continental climate with distinct four seasons. In spring, it is dry, windy, and rainy, with hot summers and concentrated rainfall. In autumn, it is relatively cool and humid, and in winter, it is cold, dry, and less snowy. Accompanied by the terrain characteristics of high in the northeast and low in the southwest, there is a significant climate difference between cold in the northeast and warm in the southwest: the annual average temperature is 9.2℃; January is the coldest month of the year, with an average monthly temperature of -6.8 ℃; July is the hottest with an average monthly temperature of 23.2 ℃.
