绛县大樱桃的外在感官果面圆润、色泽鲜艳；口感甜酸可口、绿色安全、营养丰富、风味独特。目前，绛县已建成了近五万亩的标准化大樱桃生产园区，成为我国中西部地区最大的大樱桃生产基地。

Product Features

The external sensory appearance of Jiangxian cherry has a round and bright color. The taste is sweet and sour, environmentally friendly and safe, nutritious, and has a unique flavor. At present, Jiangxian has built a standardized cherry production park covering nearly 50000 mu, becoming the largest cherry production base in central and western China.

人文历史

据古人相传《绛县志》记载：樱桃沟，一在县北十五里东，名小沟；一在县西南三十里，名大沟。……大沟尤佳，延十余里。

樱桃沟的樱桃不仅品种多，据现《县志》记载：有紫樱、腊樱、滑台樱、朱皮樱、早樱、吴樱、甜果子、急溜子、千叶樱等11种。历代文人墨客都写下了许多咏赞樱桃的诗篇。

唐太宗李世民不仅爱吃樱桃，而且给后人留诗一首：

《赋得樱桃》

华林满芳景，洛阳遍阳春。

朱颜含远日，翠色影长津。

乔柯啭娇鸟，低枝映美人。

昔作园中实，今来席上珍。

这首诗在《山西省农业资源丛书——运城卷》，《绛县志》及相关农业杂志中均有记载。

Humanistic History

According to the legend of the ancients in the “Annals of Jiangxian”, Cherry Gully is located 7.5 km north east of the county, named Xiaogou. One is located 15km southwest of the county, named Dagou. The Dagou is particularly beautiful, stretching for more than 5 km.

There are many varieties of cherries in Cherry Gully. According to the current County Annals, there are 11 types of cherries, including purple cherry, la cherry, huatai cherry, vermilion skin cherry, zao cherry, wu cherry, sweet fruit, jiliuzi, and qianye cherry. Throughout history, literati have written many poems praising cherries.

Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty Li Shimin not only loved cherries, but also leaved a poem for future generations.

The vermilion fruits, illuminated by the sun, are like small sun beads. The emerald green branches covered the stream water. The tree was covered with orioles, and by the cherry branches were palace maids picking cherries. Cherries used to be a precious delicacy in the tombs of ancestors, but now they are offered as a reward to their courtiers due to wealth.

This poem is recorded in the “Shanxi Province Agricultural Resources Series - Yuncheng Volume”, “Jiangxian Annals” and related agricultural magazines.

产地环境

绛县位于中华文明的摇篮——古河东的东北端，中条山的西北麓。中条山横亘东南，紫金山俯卧境北，中部为塬，东西为盆地，地形地貌多样，平均海拔736米；土壤属中性或微碱性土质，光照充足，昼夜温差大，土层深厚、土质疏松、土壤肥沃、有机质含量高、土壤PH值6.5-7.5之间，属典型的大陆性季风气候；年日照时数2000-2500小时之间，气温合适，雨量适中，特别是5月份大樱桃成熟期降雨量稀少，保证了大樱桃果实饱满且无裂口，着色好，是绛县大樱桃独特成长的气候条件。

保护范围：绛县古绛镇、横水镇、郝庄乡、冷口乡、卫庄镇、么里镇、安峪镇、大交镇、陈村镇、南樊镇10个乡镇。

Origin environment

Jiangxian is located in the cradle of Chinese civilization: the northeast end of the ancient river and the northwest foot of Zhongtiao Mountain. Zhongtiao Mountain stretches across the southeast, Zijin Mountain lies prone to the north, with a plateau in the middle and a basin in the east and west. The terrain and land forms are diverse, with an average altitude of 736 meters. The soil belongs to neutral or slightly alkaline soil, with sufficient sunlight, large temperature difference between day and night, deep soil layer, loose soil, fertile soil, high organic matter content, and soil pH value between 6.5 and 7.5, belonging to a typical continental monsoon climate. The annual sunshine hours range from 2000 to 2500 hours, with suitable temperature and moderate rainfall. Especially in May, the rainfall during the ripening period of large cherries is sparse, ensuring that the fruits are full and without cracks, and the color is good. This is the unique climate condition for the growth of large cherries in Jiangxian.

Scope of protection: 10 townships including Gujiang Town, Hengshui Town, Haozhuang Township, Lengkou Township, Weizhuang Town, Moli Town, Anyu Town, Dajiao Town, Chencun Town, and Nanfan Town in Jiangxian.

近年来，绛县县委、县政府准确把握新发展阶段、深入践行新发展理念、积极融入新发展格局，提出全力推进“实施五大举措、打造四宜绛县”的“五四发展思路”，把樱桃产业纳入全域旅游发展的大局，“一子落而全局活”，带动一二三产融合发展，将小巧玲珑的樱桃，发展成闻名全国的大产业，走出了一条乡村振兴的康庄大道，切实把“美丽资源”转化为“美丽经济”。

Industry Development

In recent years, the Jiangxian County Party Committee and Government have accurately grasped the new development stage, deeply practiced the new development concept, and actively integrated into the new development pattern. They have proposed to fully promote the implementation of the “five major measures build  a suitable County”, incorporating the cherry industry into the overall tourism development, promoting the integrated development of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, transforming small and exquisite cherries into a well-known national industry, and paving the way for rural revitalization, effectively transforming “beautiful resources” into “beautiful economy”.
