人文历史

清朝光绪年间，万泉县知事从陕西引回梨树、苹果；民国时期，苹果树栽培到万泉县的三文村和丁樊村。

During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, the governor of Wanquan County brought back pear trees and apples from Shaanxi; During the Republic of China period, apple trees were cultivated in Sanwen Village and Dingfan Village in Wanquan County.

1949年，万泉县和荣河县合并改名为万荣县，苹果树发展到高村、贾村、王显一带；1980年责任制以后，万荣县兴起了栽果树的热潮，苹果产业成为万荣农民增收、农业增效、农村稳定的主导产业和支柱产业。

In 1949, Wanquan County and Ronghe County merged and renamed Wanrong County, and apple trees developed to the areas of Gaocun Town, Jiacun Township, Wangxian Township; After the implementation of the responsibility system in 1980, there was a wave of fruit tree planting in Wanrong County, and the apple industry became the leading and pillar industry for increasing farmers' income, improving agricultural efficiency, and stabilizing rural areas.

2015年12月5日，在上海，原山西省质量技术监督局发布了DB14/T 1069-2015《万荣红富士苹果》，这也是中国首家苹果地方检验检测标准，详细规范了“万荣红富士苹果”标准要求，造就了雪果、金果、文化果等“爆款”产品，畅销市场。

产地环境

万荣县地处山西省运城黄河金三角，境内最高海拔1400余米，苹果产区海拔600~800米，属黄土高原，日照长、温差大，土壤中矿物质含量丰富，生产水果自然条件得天独厚，是世界上优质苹果生产适宜栽培带中的极佳生态区。

The highest altitude in the county is over 1400 meters, and the apple production area has an altitude of 600 to 800 meters. It belongs to the Loess Plateau, with long sunshine and large temperature differences. The soil is rich in mineral content, and the natural conditions for producing fruits are unique. It is an excellent ecological area in the world's suitable cultivation zone for high-quality apple production.

万荣苹果的生产地域范围为东经110°25’52”~110°59’40”，北纬35°13’45”~35°31’40”，海拔600米~1400米；年平均气温11.9℃，年降雨量500毫米以上，无霜期190天。
