产地环境

红山荞麦，主产于山西省朔州市平鲁区，地处晋北黄土高原，地理坐标介于东经111°52＇～112°41＇，北纬39°21＇～39° 58＇之间，海拔1406米左右，年平均气温5.5℃，年降雨量436毫米左右，因黄金纬度好、昼夜温差大、雨热同季期、土质污染少，独特的地域优势非常适宜红山荞麦的培育和生长。

“红山荞麦”地理标志证明商标的商品生产地域分布在朔州市平鲁区阻虎乡、高石庄乡、双碾乡、西水界乡、凤凰城镇、下水头乡、下木角乡等7个乡镇山区和部分丘陵地区的232个行政村。
